Lisa Lewis Person served as the deputy national coordinator for operations and chief operating officer at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. She was responsible for setting the strategic direction and providing executive oversight for program integrity, enterprise risk management, ethics, budget formulation and execution, grants and contracts management, international affairs, legislative affairs, human capital, information technology, the executive secretariat, and operational services.

Mrs. Person has received Secretary’s awards from both the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Homeland Security, as well as a National Coordinator’s award. She also received a Gears of Government Award which recognizes federal employees across the government that play pivotal roles in achieving the vision of a modern, effective government that works on behalf of the American people.
