Pediatric Health Information Technology: Developer Informational Resource
This Informational Resource (IR) is part of a broader ONC effort to advance interoperable health IT across the care continuum and promote the availability of certified health IT for medical specialty care providers and care settings.(Id.) It is intended to help inform the technical and implementation specifications for developers of health IT products used by clinicians that provide healthcare for children. This IR identifies ONC’s ten recommendations for health IT for pediatric care,3 relevant certification criteria within the ONC Health IT Certification Program (Program), and other technical information to support the implementation of health IT products to support the safe and effective healthcare of children.
